This historic transaction, carried out in the international capital markets, marks a significant step for the country in advancing projects focused on sustainability and development.
The issuance reached $700 million, with a yield of 8.625% and an average maturity in 2034. Santander US Capital Markets LLC and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. played a key role as initial purchasers and joint bookrunners in this operation.
This historic transaction reaffirms Honduras’ commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), driving projects that positively impact critical areas such as climate change mitigation and sustainable development.
