On February 3, 2022, the National Commission for the Minimum Wage in Nicaragua, presided over by the Labor Ministry of the Nicaraguan Government, approved an increase in the current minimum wage for each sector of the national economy to remain in effect from March 1, 2022, through February 28, 2023, as follows:

The National Minimum Wage Commission is summoned for the second week of January 2023, to discuss the wages for that period.
