On February 3, 2022, the National Commission for the Minimum Wage in Nicaragua, presided over by the Labor Ministry of the Nicaraguan Government, approved an increase in the current minimum wage for each sector of the national economy to remain in effect from March 1, 2022, through February 28, 2023, as follows:
