On October 24, 2022, the National Salaries Council (CNS – in its Spanish acronym) agreed to increase minimum wages in the private sector. This accord will take effect on January 1, 2023, when an increase of 6.62% for all salary categories goes into effect. Additionally, the following increases will also apply to the minimum wages of their respective categories:
ˉ Monthly Domestic Service: 2.33962%
ˉ Monthly Semi-Skilled Worker: 0.3986390%
ˉ Skilled Worker per Day: 0.3955514%
ˉ Monthly Specialized Worker: 0.5562880%
