The General Directorate of Customs, through the resolution of general scope MH-DGA-RES-0936-2024, dated June 4, 2024, issues provisions on a new modification to the customs duties on grain and milled rice, in compliance with the resolution reached by the Court of Appeals for Administrative and Civil Litigation of the Treasury, as described in ruling No. 219-2024 that declares the appeal filed by the State admissible.
This modification contemplates a reduction of tariffs to sections 1006.10.90.00 “Pullet Rice” and 1006.30.90.00 “Pilled Rice” as once again applying to the Import Tariff Duties (DAI) of rice the percentage of the tariff established in the Executive Decree No. 43642-MAG-MEIC-COMEX, published in Scope No.172 to Gazette No.153 of August 12, 2022.
