A fundamental principle of the work environment at BLP is to prohibit discrimination toward any employee for any reason. To guarantee non-discrimination to all human talent, the firm has taken specific actions to encourage a diverse team by promoting the broadest participation in all work areas of the firm by women, people with disabilities, and the LGBTIQ+ population.

Our support of sexual and gender diversities has been ratified with internal policies to promote inclusion and diversity. We have affirmed our stance publicly by signing the Declaration of San José once again, a resolution to defend 10 principles against discrimination based on sexual orientation, or gender identity and expression, and support the promotion of the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTIQ+) people. BLP is proud to have won the “Most Inclusive Firm for LGBTIQ+ Lawyers” award by Chambers Diversity & Inclusion, which celebrates the firm’s commitment to increasing the opportunities and representation of attorneys who are part of the LGBTIQ+ community.

BLP reaffirms its pledge to provide inclusive space and opportunities for everyone, to make the legal profession increasingly diverse, and to institutionalize respect, tolerance, and the protection of human rights for all.
