BLP Advises Automotores Gildemeister on the Sale of Volvo Costa Rica to Inchcape

BLP acted as legal counsel to Automotores Gildemeister in the sale of its Volvo vehicle business in Costa Rica to Inchcape plc, the leading independent global automotive distributor. The transaction is part of a broader deal in which Inchcape agreed to acquire the Volvo businesses in Peru and Costa Rica, and the Jaguar Land Rover business in Peru, all from Automotores Gildemeister.

BLP provided comprehensive legal counsel throughout the transaction, leading the preparation and negotiation of the Share Purchase Agreement and supporting the client from the structuring and negotiation of its terms through signing.

The closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and the required regulatory and antitrust approvals.
