BLP has advised World Business Capital (WBC) on granting a $10 million loan to Mi Banco El Salvador

BLP has advised World Business Capital (WBC) on granting a loan to MULTI INVERSIONES BANCO COOPERATIVO DE LOS TRABAJADORES, S.C. DE R.L. DE C.V. (Mi Banco) for $10,000,000, backed by the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC).  Mi Banco will use the funds to expand its microenterprise financing activities to provide financial solutions that help and promote the country’s social development.  BLP supported WBC on structuring the financing and formalizing the guarantee package; and the firm also acts as a collateral agent for the creditor.  This transaction is of great value to the sector, with an expectation of generating local economic development by supporting the issuance of consumer loans to microbusinesses for the growth of their operations.  The partners involved in the transaction were Mariana Nochez and Zygmunt Brett.  https://blplegal.com/blp-web-2021/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Transaccion-WBC-SLV_Mariana-Nochez.png
