BLP advised IFX on its acquisition of Gold Data in Costa Rica, a technology company specializing in telecommunications infrastructure that provides high-quality direct connectivity throughout the Americas and the Caribbean.

This transaction allows IFX to complement its portfolio of Data Centers, Cloud, Security, and Value-Added Services with significant network infrastructure. This strengthens its position as a leader in telecommunications and Data Centers solutions in the region.

BLP conducted due diligence on Gold Data’s Costa Rican subsidiary, drafted and negotiated the Share Purchase Agreement, prepared and obtained the antitrust authorization, supervised the completion of closing conditions, and assisted in the closing of the transaction.

BLP Partner Adriana Castro led the project, assisted by Director Elia Naranjo and Associate Diego Quirós.

Additionally, Sofía Zúñiga, Gloriana Alvarado, Alexandra Aguilar, Catalina Conejo, Carlos García and León Weinstok participated in the due diligence process, while Uri Weinstok played a key role in antitrust matters. Both teams were instrumental in the project’s success.
