Anneliss is an Attorney and Public Notary of BLP in Guatemala. She has focused her practice primarily on Real Estate & Hospitality, Business Law, and Energy & Infrastructure. 

Has advised local and international clients on their day-to-day business in several sectors, including regulated industries, such as oil, aviation, pharmaceutical, Mining, telecommunications, among others. She has played a significant role in advising one of the largest oil companies on a worldwide scale and in Guatemala, and in developing a gold mining project in Guatemala. Additionally, she has previously led several remarkable real estate projects, which resulted in the successful opening, construction or renovation of more than 20 buildings throughout the Guatemalan territory of a multinational company in the retail business, and hence, in an impactful investment in Guatemala, among other recognizable projects.   

As a result of her genuine interests for the legality and efficiency of the Guatemalan justice system, she participated in a program called Observatorio Judicial del Sistema de Justicia Penal, a project that has been developed since 2017 by the Supreme Court of Justice in Guatemala, alongside with the German Cooperation in Guatemala, and other Guatemalan institutions. Currently supports her alma mater, Universidad Rafael Landivar, by assessing and coaching law students for national and international moot courts competitions, due to her successful experience in the arbitration competition in the UP ICC Mexico Moot in 2020.    

She joined the BLP team as an associate in 2023, after working in Arias for more than 5 years, has also gained experience as an in-house Paralegal for a multinational company in the retail business, as well as in the public sector by conducting an internship at the Ministry of Labor in Guatemala.
