During the General Assemblies of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Intellectual Property Registry of Guatemala (RPI) signed a letter of intent to implement the Accelerated Patent Grant (APG) program.
This program will allow applicants who already hold a granted U.S. patent to expedite the process of obtaining a corresponding patent in Guatemala, optimizing both time and resources in the protection of their inventions.
