A conciliation agreement with the State of Honduras that ended an international controversy and led to the withdrawal of the arbitration claim before ICSID.
BLP acted as legal counsel to Scatec Solar ASA and KLP Norfund Investments AS in the negotiation and execution of a conciliation agreement with the State of Honduras, which resulted in the withdrawal of the arbitration claim filed before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
BLP worked jointly with the international law firm that represented the companies in filing the claim, coordinating the matters necessary to reach an understanding between the companies and the Honduran State, following the contractual review prompted by the energy reform.
