Roberto García-Ovalle is Special Counsel at BLP’s Guatemala office, specializing in Dispute Resolution. With over 26 years of experience, his practice encompasses Constitutional, Civil, Labor, Corporate-Commercial, Administrative, Family, and Notarial Law. He has an extensive track record advising private-sector entities on corporate and labor matters across various industries, including textile, hospitality, trade associations, education, commerce, and general industry. His primary focus is on substantive and procedural labor law, ensuring employers’ compliance with labor obligations and preventing legal contingencies. Roberto joined BLP as Special Counsel in 2024.
