Jose Pablo Rojas, Director at BLP in San Jose, has over 20 years of experience in Dispute Resolution and Competition & Antitrust. In addition to litigating in areas such as Advertising, Marketing & Consumer Protection, he handles commercial litigation for companies and financial institutions. In Competition & Antitrust, Jose Pablo leads merger approval processes, defense of actions before regulatory authorities, and develops compliance programs. He joined BLP in 2015 after the merger with Weinstok Abogados.

A competitor sued LAICA, alleging abuse of a dominant position in the market by supposedly imposing exclusive deals on retailers in the sale and distribution of sugar and related products. BLP acted as the defendant’s lead counsel.
