Con una inversi\u00f3n total de US$60 millones, el campus contar\u00e1 con m\u00e1s de 29,000 m\u00b2 de infraestructura para atender a 1,400 estudiantes de educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica, 10,000 universitarios y 2,000 usuarios de instalaciones deportivas de nivel ol\u00edmpico.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se trata de la primera infraestructura social en Guatemala con dise\u00f1o resiliente al clima y sostenible, la primera en Centroam\u00e9rica y una de las primeras en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe en obtener la verificaci\u00f3n del sello internacional <b>Fast-Infra<\/b>. Adem\u00e1s, el proyecto incorpora medidas concretas para fomentar la inclusi\u00f3n educativa de mujeres en STEM y estudiantes ind\u00edgenas, as\u00ed como programas de becas, servicios de apoyo acad\u00e9mico y un s\u00f3lido plan de gobierno corporativo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BLP actu\u00f3 como asesor legal l\u00edder de la transacci\u00f3n, asesorando a IDB Invest y del Banco Centroamericano de Integraci\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica (BCIE), brindando un acompa\u00f1amiento integral en todos los aspectos legales del financiamiento. La asesor\u00eda incluy\u00f3: la revisi\u00f3n de la bancabilidad del proyecto y de toda la documentaci\u00f3n relevante; la realizaci\u00f3n de la debida diligencia legal sobre las entidades participantes y los activos del proyecto; el dise\u00f1o y estructuraci\u00f3n del paquete de garant\u00edas locales; la negociaci\u00f3n y redacci\u00f3n de los documentos financieros; as\u00ed como el acompa\u00f1amiento legal durante el cierre, velando por la correcta alineaci\u00f3n regulatoria y contractual del proyecto acad\u00e9mico y deportivo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pablo Uma\u00f1a, socio de BLP, coment\u00f3 \u201c<i>Este innovador proyecto refleja la capacidad de BLP para liderar transacciones legales complejas y de alto impacto social.
