With 20 years of experience, she has advised local and transnational companies on corporate and commercial aspects. She specializes in immigration applications before the General Directorate of Immigration and Immigration, as well as leading environmental departments and due diligence processes with an emphasis on the environmental field for mergers and acquisitions. Claudia has extensive knowledge of permits for renewable energy projects and procedures before public institutions. She is also a lead auditor in environmental compliance and occupational health audits. She joined BLP in 2016.

  • Cementos Progreso is expanding its presence in Central America. BLP has advised Cementos Progreso Holdings, S.L. on the $335 million acquisition of assets from Cemex, S.A.B of C.V. in Costa Rica and El Salvador. The acquisition includes a cement plant, a cement mill, various ready-mix concrete plants, an aggregates quarry, and distribution centers in Costa Rica and El Salvador. The transaction bolsters Cementos Progreso’s expansion in Central America, consolidating operations in seven countries.
