Carolina is a Special Counsel at BLP in the Guatemala City offices. She specializes in the practice areas of Business Law and Banking & Finance, with special emphasis on regulatory matters.

She has extensive experience in corporate transactions involving national and international corporations, as well as complex legal audits, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and the legal structure design of strategic alliances. Her expertise extends to real estate and banking transactions; research and writing of legal opinions; review, analysis, and preparation of commercial contracts, including agency, distribution, and representation contracts; merger agreements; the purchase and sale of assets and shares, and the documentation of transactions in a wide spectrum of industries.

Previously an Associate Attorney at Arias y Carillo y Asociado, Carolina joined the BLP team as a Senior Associate in 2022.
