Andrea González, Partner at BLP in San José, Costa Rica, is an expert in Business Law with an emphasis on Real Estate & Hospitality. In her 20 years of experience, she has advised on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance for national and transnational companies. She excels in the restructuring and design of corporate structures, as well as in real estate and hotel projects in coastal and urban areas. Andrea is recognized for her efficiency and quality in client service. Locally, she participates as a coach, mentor, and judge in entrepreneurship competitions and is a co-founder of “Ecoclean Bio,” a green chemistry venture. As part of her current entrepreneurial endeavors, she is co-founding a regenerative farm to develop a Holistic Livestock Management model.     BLP advises Revolution Group, Cacique Investors, and Garnier & Garnier on financing, structuring, and developing the mixed-use real estate project, Waldorf Astoria Hotel, and its branded residences. It is the country’s first Waldorf Astoria hotel and the starting point of the development of the Peninsula known as Punta Cacique.

  • Guanacaste Development Group launches its second coastal real estate project. The client is developing a second coastal real estate project in Costa Rica, a Mixed-Use Real Estate Master Project named Costa Elena with high-end hotels, villas, and lots. For the development of the Project, BLP advised its client on the restructuring of its real estate investments (over 1,000 ha.) per a corporate reorganization and the constitution of the master condominium and the first phase of sub-condominiums, as well as the formulation of the sales packages and contracts for the first phase.
  • Residential real estate development project to be developed in Guanacaste. BLP is the legal advisor on the real estate and corporate structuring of the sustainable residential real estate development project in Guanacaste, called the Zapotal Beach and Golf Club.
  • Counsel to Desarrolladores 506 in the development of an ambitious Gated Beach Community. BLP advises Desarrolladores 506, a sizeable local eco developer in an ambitious Gated Beach Community (MISTICO) concept of over 110 hectares of titled beachfront property in Central Pacific Hermosa Beach.
