Alejandro Fallas is a Senior Associate at BLP’s office in San José, Costa Rica, and is part of the Banking & Finance practice area.

He has extensive experience advising issuers, investors, and financial institutions on structuring debt and securities issuances, both in public and private offerings, ensuring regulatory compliance and tax efficiency. Alejandro has been involved in structuring, negotiating, and executing M&A transactions, leading due diligence and financing processes.

In the real estate sector, he has advised developers and financial institutions on the structuring and financing of projects, including real estate trusts and title reviews. Additionally, he has counseled banks and financial entities on the structuring and regulation of investment funds under local and international regulations.

He has also collaborated with development agencies and multilateral entities in designing infrastructure financing projects and has represented financial institutions and developers in financing renewable energy projects.

Alejandro rejoined BLP as a Senior Associate in 2025.
