

Alejandra Muñoz
Alejandra is an Senior Associate at BLP’s office in San José, Costa Rica. She specializes in the practice areas of Global Mobility & Relocation and Free Trade Zones.
In the area of Immigration & Nationality, she advises local and transnational companies on the hiring of foreigners, work permits, applications for residency, changes of status, categories and special permits, and recognition of companies before the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration. She has aided foreigners who wish to settle in the country as pensioners or as investors.
In terms of global mobility and relocation services, she provides advice to companies that need to solve challenges derived from the transfer of their executives and employees globally. Through integral processes, Alejandra’s coordinates the exit and entry of corporate employees from the country of origin to the destination according to the specific regulations that the client requires.
In the Free Trade Zones area, she has experience in incorporating, organizing and restructuring companies, as well as advising on the preparation and review of contracts related to day today activities. Additionally, she advises entrepreneurs and investors interested in establishing operations in Costa Rica under the Free Trade Zones regime, resolving doubts and facilitating the benefits that this system entails.
Alejandra joined BLP as Legal Assistant in 2015, after having worked in the same position at VS Abogados. In 2018, she became an Associate of BLP
