Adolfo Pineda is one of the founding Partners of BLP in Honduras. He specializes in Labor & Employment and Global Mobility & Relocation, with 20 years of experience in recruitment, development and negotiation of employment contracts. He advises on employer-worker relations and the processing of immigration and health permits. He has been a Human Resources advisor at companies such as Citi Bank, Walmart and Unilever. Adolfo joined BLP in 2015.

  • UPS withdraws Operations in Honduras. BLP advised UPS on the liquidation of all employee contracts and the closure of operations in the country.
  • BLP won a case in favor of Claro Honduras. The labor appellate court of San Pedro Sula established a precedent demonstrating that the labor attorney´s office will not suspend the statute of limitation for claiming labor compensations. This case was won by CLARO, proving that the proscription must apply.
  • BLP performed due diligence for our client Mega Distribuidora Avicola to assure that all employee files (800 employees) comply with the labor law.
